Welcome to Cafe Extrablatt Leverkusen, a vibrant cafe nestled in the heart of Wiesdorfer Platz, where the charm of community and the thrill of football come together to create an inviting atmosphere. This cafe is not just a place to grab a bite; it’s a cultural hub for locals and football fans alike, adorned with historical memorabilia that celebrates the beautiful game.

Step inside, and you’re immediately greeted by warm smiles and a bustling ambiance that radiates energy. Whether you're here to catch the latest match or enjoy a leisurely meal with friends and family, Cafe Extrablatt offers a delightful experience. Customers rave about the sensibility of the prices, especially in these inflationary times. One happy diner, Ignacio Di Paola, noted, "The Schnitzel I got was really tasty, and the fries were as well!! The prices are actually quite reasonable given all the recent inflation in my opinion." It's evident that the cafe serves up quality dishes that won’t break the bank.

The menu sports a variety of delicious options, with standout dishes like the classic Schnitzel, perfect for those craving hearty German cuisine. Guests have expressed their appreciation for the portions and taste, with one regular visiting patron, Med I, declaring it "hands down amazing!" The energetic atmosphere can sometimes be a bit loud, but that’s just part of its charm – laughter and conversation fill the air as patrons enjoy their meals.

Don’t miss the opportunity to indulge in the all-you-can-eat breakfast, which boasts an impressive variety that caters to different tastes. However, a friendly note from Mahmoud Saad suggests that clearer labeling of food items could enhance the experience further. And while desserts like the Daim cake may have received mixed reviews, the sheer joy of dining here more than compensates for it.

If you're looking for drinks, the cafe has a selection of beers that are reportedly both good quality and reasonably priced. One visitor, Ton Oko, shared that "Beer was good and I must say pretty cheap," making it a fantastic spot for an after-work drink or a casual gathering.

The ambiance is just as noteworthy as the food. With a perfect blend of cozy and lively vibes, backdropped with football history, it’s the ideal spot to relax and unwind with friends or match day enthusiasts. Edith Parasi-Oduor described it perfectly as "a lovely place to hang out with friends and family. Nice ambience and great service."

So, if you find yourself in Leverkusen, make your way to Cafe Extrablatt. This local gem promises not just food and drinks, but an experience laden with warmth, joy, and camaraderie. Whether you're cheering for a team or simply catching up with friends, this cafe stands out as a go-to destination.

The Schnitzel I got was really tasty, and the fries were as well!! The prices are actually quite reasonable given all the recent inflation in my opinion; I paid a little under 15€ for the meal in the picture. The staff was really nice too!!! It was quite busy though, and thus, loud. I had a hard time hearing the person across my table. Lastly, I cannot recommend the Daim cake. The cake itself is tasty, but it can also be bought in the Rewe less than 100 meters away, frozen; and for the price of a slice in Extrablatt you should be able to buy a whole cake in Rewe...

The place is so nice. I only tried it for all you can eat breakfast. The varieties are nice. Could have been better if the food was labelled properly.
